Oh it’s so nice and soft, and it looks nice on the bed…. when it’s not in the laundry from being enjoyed! 😉 OH and it’s COMPLETELY waterproof!
The fabric feels so good to the touch; sherpa side looks like it might pill in the not too distant future, and my cats’ claws have made pulls/snags in a few places, so keep that in mind. Also, it takes a long time to dry, but that’s to be expected for a waterproof fluffy thing. Just be aware, dry thoroughly, and enjoy!

My wife and I were looking for something to keep our sheets dry during intimate time. They can get very wet usually. Ordered the 80×80 since we have a queen size bed. It fits very well. Not sure we could sleep under it but that wasn’t its intended purpose. We have used this MANY times and it hasn’t ever disappointed. Once intimate time is over we can take it off the bed and use our regular comforter and easily fall asleep on dry sheets!

This blanket does just what it says and is great! The only negative is that when you wash via washing machine it takes forever to dry even after running the high spin cycle 3 times. The instructions advise air drying or low heat if in the dryer. Low heat is basically just regular air blowing on it this means a lot longer drying time than if you were doing say a load of towels with heat air. No regrets buying this though because it definitely keeps whatever furniture under it dry.

Ok so I really needed a soft af, waterproof and not easily to tear up blanket to protect my couch from my cat and dog living their best lives. And this does the trick!! My cat can’t scratch through, it really it water resistant and way softer than I thought it’d be. It’s also just as cozy a blanket for sleeping and chilling. I didn’t know what to expect of a blanket like this, because of it’s function. I didn’t know if it would be just functional or be comfortable as well. It is surprisingly soft on both sides. Very plush and lush. There was no plastic sound or feel, and no odd smells. The color was rich and deep. It came with a convenient storage bag, which is handy because this won’t be used daily, and it was very easy to fold the blanket and use the bag. It is remarkable how nice an useful item can be, and look pleasing while doing it’s job.

I wish we had something like this years ago. It’s super fuzzy and warm on the tan side and velvety smooth and soft on the other. We got the red to aid activities when Aunt Flo comes to town and Inal not afraid in the least to put it on a very light colored sectional for adult time. So far it’s been used on both sides and in multiple locations inside and outside the house and has not disappointed. It does have very specific washing instructions and seems like if you can follow that it should last a long time. The larger size does hold a massive amount of fluid, and can get very heavy if you put it in and out of the washing machine, but hey…. We can deal with that if it means all areas of the house are now open to fun time with no risk of stains or accidents. We love it!

We’ve tried a number of solutions for bedroom concerns to maintain a wetness barrier but haven’t been happy with the mattress pad and liners for a number of reasons. With the purchase of a new mattress recently, we took the plunge and picked up this blanket for use when we’re expecting to need it and it’s so worth it. (new mattresses aren’t cheap !)
The blanket was tested out almost immediately after purchase. It’s just right to fit across the king bed, corner to corner. It’s soft on both sides with one being “sherpa” type texture and the smooth being a shiny jet black. Since it won’t be on there full time, we’re not concerned about the look so much but we’ve tried using it both directions and each has their merit. And… both directions it protected against pass-through wetness in any quantity.
it’s been through the wash several times with no signs of distress or reduction in the protective layer.
No “crunchy” type noises and same look and feel of a regular blanket. This is good as we found the mattress pad type liners to be very distracting… either from noise or discomfort.
it is recommended to dry on a cooler temperature so we do find that it needs to hang try for a length of time after washing since it is highly absorbent and pretty heavy with moisture even after an hour of cool spin in the dryer. Maybe we’re not being aggressive enough with the wash cycle but we don’t want to risk damaging the protective layer.
