I’m not like most people because I don’t like too much heat when it’s cold so my thermostat never rises past 68 degrees. However there’s nothing like getting into a toasty bed at night. Strange as it seems, I have my pad turned up to 5 and it feels so good especially when you’re aching. I love being able to switch pillows and its warm and cozy. Mattress pad as advertised. I started having sciatica again on one side and it lasted for a few days. Once I warmed the bed and rested on this mattress, I felt much better, no, it won’t solve the pain completely, the exercise helps with that, and you feel better. After being disappointed the last few years with electric blankets that didn’t seem to warm the bed or us much at all, we decided to try a heated mattress pad. Love it! There’s a preheat setting you can turn on for a few minutes before bedtime and when you get in it’s already warm. Very relaxing. Like laying on a heating pad for sore, tired muscles. The mattress pad was easy to get onto the mattress and stays put nicely. I see some people didn’t like that they couldn’t place the controller on their nightstand but ours hangs over the bedpost safely out of the way and handy for adjustments. We also like the 10 hour auto shutoff.

I have only had this one a week but so far it is by far the best one yet. I don’t feel the wires which is a big plus. It is so comfortable. The heat gets hot enough for me and I am cold blooded. The heat distribution is good, better than than the sunbeam that has a dead zone up the middle and at the feet. The controls: I wish the display was brighter in the dark as it would make it easier to see. I like that it goes all the way to 9 so I can dial it down if the room gets warmer. My last one lasted 2 years so I will see how this one holds up but my last one wasn’t as comfortable so I am hoping for the best.

Anyone who suffers with arthritis knows that it can be terribly debilitating. It can change your plans for the whole day. I heard that a heated mattress pad was the answer to arthritic and other chronic pain, so I bought this pad. I was hopeful for relief the first night at bedtime. As soon as I laid down in the pre-warmed bed, my body began to feel better. The pain literally melted away as the heat infiltrated. I slept soundly, after being sleep deprived for so long. The pad itself is high quality, easy to install, with long cords that are very convenient. I’ve had it set on Low which is perfect for sleeping. It is washable, a big plus. I have no cons in this review; I even got it on sale!

My husband and I love love love this! During this winter we have used this every night. My husband turns on both sides to warm up prior to bedtime, and on those really cold nights, this is amazing. He keeps his side on the second heat setting all night and is loving it. We like the separate controls for sure, I turn my side off for the night once I’m comfortable. I’ve washed it following the directions and still works like new. Comes with really long cords, however we run them under our mattress up to our nightstands so they are more hidden and out of the way. We are very happy.

Order this to replace another mattress heating pad. Easy to put on, large size for thick mattress (15″). The wire length allows placing controls next to the bed without any issues. As for the heat, it keeps you warm very well. My wife always gets colds because she needs medicine and she thinks it’s perfect, both sides can be adjusted independently, which means no one can tolerate being too hot or too cold.
